CAIRO – 9 July 2017: Roger Federer qualified for round of 16 in Wimbledon after beating his German opponent, Mischa Zverev 3-0 on Saturday.

"It's important to get through the first week with a good feeling and I think I got that," Federer told The BBC.

Federer added, "The first match with the walkover saved me a lot of energy, crucial energy. We go one round at a time.”

Federer played beautifully and won the sets 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 after great performance against Zverev.

Novak Djokovic continued his amazing form in the last couple of matches, he reached the round of 16 after beating Emests Gulbis 3-0 on Saturday, Djokovic won the sets 6-4, 6-1, 7-6.

Djokovic said after the match, “I’m delighted with the performance. I raised the level of tennis compared with the first couple of matches. It was the most focused I was on court,” according to The Guardian.

Federer, 35 years, will face Grigor Dimitrov, while Djokovic will face Adrian Mannarino, both matches will be held on Monday.
