Cairo-17 July 2021: All eyes are on Casablanca as Mohamed V stadium hosts the CAF Champions League final on Saturday night between the regining champions Al Ahly and South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs.

Al Ahly are heading into the final as favourites, given they are the defending champions and the most successful club in the competition's history with 9 titles. On the other hand, their South African opponents will appear in the final for the first time in history.

The Red Devils from Egypt will be facing a team from South Africa in the CAF Champions League final for the third time after facing Mamelodi Sundowns in 2001 and Orlando Pirates in 2013, with Al Ahly winning the title on both occasions.

Al Ahly's South African coach Pitso Mosimane hopes to guide his team to the title again and he believes that his players are ready to clinch the title.

"It’s an opportunity for Al Ahly to win the tenth title and make history. It’s a big honor to be here, not many teams make it to the final. It was never easy to make it to the final. Yes, we respect the opponent but we have the confidence to win the match, why not?” Mosimane said in the pre-match press conference.

Mosimane is expected to rely on his favourite formation (4-2-3-1), which he used in the last league game against Misr Lel Makkasa, which ended with a 4-1 win for the Red Devils.

Al Ahly's expected line-up consists of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ali Maaloul, Akram Tawfik, Badr Benoun, Ayman Ashraf, Aliou Dieng, Amr El Soulia, Taher Mohamed Taher, Hussein El Shahat, Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Mohamed Sherif.

The game starts at 9:00 PM (Cairo Time).
