CAIRO, 12 July 2021: Al Ahly smashed Al Makassa 4-1 in the meeting gathered them on Suez Stadium in the 18th round of the Egyptian League.
Al-Ahly club found the way to Misr Al Makassa net despite the offside trap done by the Mohamed Abdel Gelil, Misr Al Makassa's coach.
Al-Ahly achieved their last victory in the league before playing the final of the African Champions League next Saturday in Morocco against the South African club Kaizer Chiefs.
The victory raised Al-Ahly's balance to 51 points in second place in the league standings from 23 matches.
Ten points behind the leader Zamalek, who played 27 games, while Misr Al Makassa balance froze at point 37 in tenth place.
The match is the second for Misr Al Makassa under the leadership of its coach, Mohamed Abdel Gelil
Misr Al Makassa advanced from a penalty kick by Ahmed Modi, then Al-Ahly scored two goals through Mohamed Sherif, then Mohamed Desouky added Al-Ahmar's third goal by mistake.
Before Mohamed Magdy "Afsha" scored Al-Ahly's fourth goal in time instead of lost.
