CAIRO-26 June 2021: Al Ahly Stadium in Al Salam will host one of the biggest games of the season on Saturday night as Al Ahly host Esperance in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semis.

It is expected to be a crunch 90 minutes to decide who will secure the ticket to the CAF Champions League final.

The home team are going to the game with a slight advantage after winning the first leg in Tunisia 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mohamed Sherif.

However, Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane spoke in the pre-match press conference that everything is possible on Saturday and they can not rely on the first leg's victory.

"We are playing at home. When we play at home, we play to win. What is important for us is to try to protect our lead, our small lead. You do so by scoring and making sure the opponent doesn’t score.”

Al Ahly seek a revenge from the Tunisian side, who made a comeback in the CAF Champions League final in 2018, winning the return leg of the final 3-0 after losing the first leg in Cairo 3-1, to secure the CAF Champions League title.

The game starts at 9:00 PM.
