CAIRO-15 May 2021: Ismaily completed a sensational comeback against Aswan to secure a 3-2 victory at Ismailia on Friday in the Egyptian Premier League.

Ismaily’s winning streak continued as they achieved their fifth victory in a row in the league and improved their situation after escaping the relegation zone.

The home team found themselves behind after 3 minutes as Ashraf Magdy opened the score for Aswan.

Ismaily’s defender Hussein El Sayed equalized the score after receiving a fantastic pass from Ahmed Madbouli to make the score 1-1.

In-form Shokry Naguib won the game for Ismaily in just 6 minutes. Naguib added the second goal in the 66th minute as he followed a ball rebounded from Aswan’s goalkeeper and put it in the back of the net.

Naguib added the third goal in the game six minutes later with a perfect finish to give his team a comfortable lead in the game.

Aswan’s substitute Amr El Halwani scored from the spot to narrow the gap in the score, one minute before the final whistle but his team did not have enough time to equalize the score.

Ismaily jumped to the 12th position in the standings with 26 points while Aswan stayed with 21 points in the 15th position.
