CAIRO-6 May 2021: The details have been confirmed for the quarter-finals of this season's CAF Champions League competition. 
 
Al Ahly will host South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns on 15 May at Al Ahly Stadium in the first leg of the quarter-finals while the two teams will meet again on 22 May at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
 
Senegalese referee Maguette N'Diaye will take charge of the first leg in Cairo and he will be assisted by Djibril Camara and El Hadji Malick Samba. 
 
On the other hand, Janny Sikazwe of Zambia will officiate the second leg in South Africa and he will be assisted by Arsénio Marengula from Mozambique and Angola's Jerson Dos Santos. 
 
The two teams will meet in the quarter-finals of the competition for the third straight season, with the South African side winning the tie in 2019 while Al Ahly won the tie last season. 
 
Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane will face his former team, Mamelodi Sundowns for the first time, after leading them in the last two encounters against Al Ahly. 
 
The South African coach joined Al Ahly in October 2020 and led them to win the CAF Champions League title last season, having defeated Zamalek in the final. 
 
The winner of the clash will face the winner between Tunisia's Espérance and Algeria's CR Belouizdad.
