CAIRO-17 April 2021: Zamalek announced on Saturday that the team players tested negative for COVID-19 and they are all ready for the clash against Al Ahly on Sunday night, according to Zamalek's head of medical staff, Dr. Mohamed Osama.

Zamalek enter the game in high spirits as they are on an impressive run under the leadership of Patrice Carteron.

Since Carteron's return to Zamalek, the team only lost one game in all competitions and the team showed much improvement in different aspects.

All eyes will be set on Cairo International Stadium, where the Cairo giants, Al Ahly and Zamalek, will face off in a game postponed from the fourth week of the Egyptian League.

The two teams will meet for the first time since the 2020 CAF Champions League final, when Al Ahly defeated Zamalek 2-1 to secure the 9th CAF Champions League title in the club's history.

Zamalek lead the league table with 33 points after 14 games and they are six points ahead of Al Ahly, who played only 11 matches.
