Bwalya is ready for Al Ahly's game against Simba

CAIRO-8 April 2021: Al Ahly's Congolese striker Walter Bwalya participated in the team's training session on Thursday and he will be ready to support the team against Simba of Tanzania. 

 

The player did not complete the team's training session on Wednesday after picking up a minor injury, which will not prevent him from taking part in the game against Simba. 

 

Al Ahly will face the Tanzanian champions on Friday night in the last game of the CAF Champions League group stage. 

 

The two teams secured the qualifying tickets of the group to the quarter-finals since Matchday 5. 

 

Simba finished atop of the group table with 13 points while Al Ahly come second with 8 points, and the result of Friday's game will not change the group standings.  

 

This game will be a perfect chance for the Al Ahly's head coach Pitso Mosimane to give more playing time to his players ahead of a decisive stage in the season. 

 

The game starts on Friday at 9:00 PM at Al Ahly stadium.
