CAIRO-2 April 2021: Cairo will be again under the spotlight as the Egyptian capital will host the Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships between 3 and 11 April.

Tazkarti and Presentation, chaired by Montaser El Nabrawy, are the organizers of the mega event and they are ready to impress the world again after the amazing organization of the Handball World Championship last January.

The bubble system will be applied in the tournament to ensure the health and safety of all the participants amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are working closely with the Egyptian Fencing Federation which has done an impressive amount of work. Your life, health and Safety are the main priorities for our federation and for me personally.” Alisher Usmanov, the president of the International Fencing Federation, stated in his letter to the participating nations.

The previous edition of the tournament, which was scheduled in USA, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

This year's edition will see the participation of 80 nations as Egypt is ready to cement its position as a hub for hosting big sports events.
