CAIRO- 25 March 2022: Egyptian Premier League stars, Mohamed Salah and Mahmoud Trezeguet were named in Egypt national team's starting line-up against Kenya.
Egypt faces Kenya on Thursday in Matchday 5 of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Egypt head coach Hossam El Badry announced the team's starting line-up for the game, which consists of: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ahmed Hegazi, Mohamed Hany, Mahmoud El Wensh, Ahmed Ayman, Hamdy Fathy, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Mohamed Salah, Mahmoud Trezeguet and Mostafa Mohamed.
Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi hosts the game on Thursday at 6:0Nyayo0 PM (Cairo Time).
The Pharaohs aim to get at least a draw to secure their spot in the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled in Cameroon in 2022.
Egypt plays in Group G alongside Kenya, Comoros and Togo.
The Pharaohs and Comoros are leading the group with 8 points each, while Kenya comes third with 3 points before Togo who gained only one point from four games.
