CAIRO – 6 February 2021: Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has invited a group of Egyptian bloggers and influencers, who have thousands of followers, to visit a number of Egyptian tourist cities and promote them through their personal pages on social media.

The ministry stated that bloggers and influencers will visit a number of tourist cities, including: Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba", in order to familiarize Egyptians with the touristic and archaeological potentials of these cities and encourage them to visit them.

Bloggers are expected to post photos and videos that they will take during their tour on their accounts, capturing the picturesque nature of these places, and the sunny weather, besides their tours inside the museums and archaeological sites.

For his part, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, indicated that tours organizes for both Egyptian and foreign bloggers and influencers to Egyptian tourist destinations “contribute to the revitalization of Egyptian tourism industry, especially with bloggers and influencers describing their experience visiting Egypt.
