CAIRO – 24 June 2017: Looking for the right furniture and home accessories in Egypt might take too much effort and time. However, a group of young adults established a mobile application that will help you find the right furniture and home accessories with just a click.

Beitify is a new app and website launched earlier this month to help you find furniture in Egypt, and is the brainchild of Shebab ElNoury, Majid Hassan, And Ahmed Aboshady.

Beitifiy includes 16 brands on the application and its creators are trying to add two more startup furniture companies to its list.

The application provides a platform for its users to browse furniture and accessories without having to leave the house for hours on end, ElNoury told Egypt Today.

However, people won’t find all the shops and the furniture brands in Egypt on that application because Beitifiy has a certain criteria and quality they are looking for when they chose the furniture outlets, ElNoury explained.

The difference between Beitifiy and the Ikea application is that Ikea only sell their products, while Beitifiy is a service application that offers a variety of brands and products with their pieces.

Given the app has not been out for long, the company has yet to analyse their users’ behavior and has said they will be revisiting this issue in three months’ time when more data is available.

Beitifiy’s long-term vision is to cover Egypt, the Middle East and hopefully the world. But for now they are covering Cairo and their next step is going to be Alexandria.
