AAIB attracting foreign sights: Jennifer Lopez makes first appearance in New Alamein City

Arab African International Bank is sponsoring Jennifer Lopez’sfirst time concert in the New Alamein City on August 9.Celebrating her birthday, she will be taking her “It’s My PartyTour” to Egypt – North Coast, allowing her fans to have an ultimate musical experience and outstanding memorable show with one of the biggest names in the music industry.

Believing in the role of tourism and new mega projects in developing the communities and contributing to the economies where we operate as a leading financial group, our primary objectives from this cooperation are furnishing our financial services to existing and prospect customers, trying to put the country back on the map as a prime touristic destination, marketing the New Alamein City and showcasing the progress that has been achieved in it and marking Egypt as a safe and prominent destination capable to host such a spectacular international concert.

The New Alamein City is one of Egypt’s most important projects expected to be one of Egypt’s most attractive places for touristic destinations. It is planned to include universities, schools and touristic activities that are supposed to increase employment rates and allow residents to enjoy a life that includes a magnificent sea view. It is worth mentioning that in addition to its economic and social impacts, the City will also have positive environmental impacts as it will rely on natural energy and water resources in providing drinking water through desalination using solar energy, which marks Egypt’s on the map of renewable energy users.

The contract was signed by Sherif Hassan the Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication of Arab African International Bank, and Rabih Mokbel Venture Lifestyle’s CEO.AAIB considered this memorable event’s potential positive economic, social and environmental impact, therefore encouraged this leap in Egypt’s development.For years, tourism contributed to the economy and job opportunities in several sectors including transportation, food and beverages, hospitality and events.

Although Egypt is equipped with all sources of tourism attraction including a pleasant climate, natural sceneries and one third of the world's monuments, we still need to add activities that meet the interests of the young generation.

Since the world now has a high youth population, entertainment tourism has become a source for attracting domestic as well as international tourists. The concert, is expected to draw a large crowd and give international media exposure for Egypt andthe New Alamein City which will increase the infrastructure and tourism capacity of the city, foster its image, attract investors and real-estate developers and increase the number of new jobs being created.
