In Pics: Spring Flower exhibition opens in Orman Park

CAIRO - 21 March 2019: The 86th Spring Flowers exhibition at al-Orman Park in Giza opened on Thursday.

Ministers of Agriculture Ezzal-Din Abu Steit, Minister of Youth Ashraf Sobhy and Minister of Interior Trade and SupplyAli Moseilhy inaugurated the exhibition. Some 180 exhibitors display their creative products in this spring carnival.



The exhibition is one of the largest flower exhibitions in the Middle East, stated Minister of Agriculture Abu Steit, adding that it encourages the producers of flower and ornamental plants to trade their products.




The exhibition is held annually on a 14-feddan piece of land in Orman Park, and lasts for 45 days.



The Ministry of Agriculture has announced that the 2019 exhibition aims to target more than 1 million visitors.
