CAIRO – 26 February 2019: Sixty-three years after they were taken, pictures of Shadya, actress and singer, who has been depicted as an icon of beauty and elegance by the Egyptian Cinema, and Abdel Halim Hafez, singer and actor, who was known for capturing women’s hearts, resurfaced.

The rare photos, which have circulated for the very first time since 1956, leaving many reminiscing and nostalgic, teach men how to treat women.

Initially posted in Generation Magazine, Issue 215 of February 6, 1956, under the title, “A lesson in etiquette”, aimed to teach male readers how to treat women, whether they are their lover, partner, wife, or sister.

And to the tips:

1- A husband, lover, or brother should always help a women out of a car in a gentle and polite manner.

WRONG: The first photo shows Abdel Halim smoking a cigarette while Shadya is trying to get out of the car.
