Cairo – 16 January 2018: The Russian travel agency, Aeroflot declared that its first Moscow – Cairo flight will be on 3 February, 2018. Aeroflot will run a flight every Wednesday and Saturday from Moscow to Cairo.

The Russian travel agency received its Cairo based office in Terminal 2 of the Cairo International airport and will be ready for work after the banner with the company’s Logo and schedule has been added, according to Cairo international airport officials
Egypt Air now has to organize three Cairo – Moscow direct flights to be launched every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday weekly according to the Secure protocol signed between the two countries.

It is expected that there will be further negotiations concerning resuming direct flights from Russia to Egypt’s resort towns of Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh city in April 2018.
Russia president, Vladimir Putin confirmed the protocol signed between Egypt’s minister of Civil Aviation and Russia’s Minister of Transportation that included resuming flights between two countries.
