Semiramis Lauches Open-Air Brunches

Starting April 2 the Nile Terrace will be rolling out its open-air barbecue brunches overlooking the Nile (LE 195++ per person, including soft drinks, or LE 295++ per person, including alcoholic beverages) from 1pm till sunset. Every other day of the week you can enjoy an à la carte menu and aromatic shisha, while following exciting sporting events on the big screen. Open daily from noon till midnight.

Following last year’s success during the collaboration with Cairo Jazz festival, Michelle Rounds returns at Nile Terrace. Catch her on April 22.

Gather with family and friends on Fridays at Night & Day and relish the one brunch that stands out from the bunch for only LE 235++. The Semiramis’ brigade of chefs bring you an array of traditional oriental and multi-ethnic dishes “a la minute,” from Sushi & Stir Fry to Teppanyaki & Tandoori, not to mention salads, pasta and desserts.

Crave Launches New Menu

Crave has announced the launch of a new menu, now available at its six different branches across Cairo. Examples of the restaurant’s new dishes include Summer Rolls, Chicken Quinoa salad, Cajun Shrimp pasta, Cherry Soya Tuna, Coffee Toffee Crumble and Chocolate Chip Lava cakes. Some of the restaurant’s health-conscious food choices, specially tailored by Crave’s own culinary nutrition expert and health coach, feature Vegetable Lentil Soup, Summer Rolls, Classic Greek salad, Goat Cheese sandwich and Wholewheat Veggie pizza.

New Chef At Fairmont Heliopolis

New Executive Chef Jean-Claude Fugier recently joined the Fairmont Heliopolis & Towers team, bringing with him a mix of experience, education, and foresight. "With his experience in the kitchens of prestigious restaurants and hotels around the world, he brings with him creativity and innovation that our hotel guests will relish,” says Joerg Wickihalder, Fairmont Heliopolis & Tower’s F&B Director. Fugier, who was born in Lyon, France most recently worked as the Group Executive Chef at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels, having previously worked at the Bombay Duck Dining Company, Park Hyatt Hyderabad and Grand Hyatt Moscow.
