CAIRO – 27 September 2017: We all stand in front of our closets with huge question marks over our foreheads, especially when we’re dressing for important occasions and first impressions. Here are some simple tips to get you along:

1. Eliminate wardrobe malfunction

Your wardrobe should contain five, indispensable pieces:

• A basic white tank top

• A nice pair of jeans

• A leather jacket

• A black dress

• Comfy sneakers

• A nude pair of high heels

Combine any of these together and you will look perfectly fine.

2. Statement accessories

There are several ways to wear statement accessories. A sparkling statement necklace will always look elegant with any plain outfit.

Chokers are having a major moment, but not in that “Clueless” meets “The Craft,” kind of way, so don’t panic. Stack layers of gold chokers for a look that will make any sweater look polished and dressed up.

If you don’t like wearing statement necklaces, just grab your best three necklaces and layer them on for a new delicate look, even if on a swimsuit it will do you magic.

3. Tulle is always girly

My motto is “when in doubt, wear tulle.” Tulle skirts are a great way to enhance your feminine touch to any outfit, especially when you’re pairing it with a simple t-shirt. Tuck in your tee and throw on a belt, and you have the perfect girly, yet chic dinner outfit.

4. The art of layering

Layering is one of the best themes that will get you off the hook; just place a tank top under a blazer with a ruffled scarf on top, and jeans and nude high heels on the bottom. With a statement bag or necklace, you are ready to rock.

5. LBDs

You can never go wrong when it comes to wearing a black dress. Just let your hair up, apply bold, smokey eye makeup, and either wear bold earrings or a bold necklace.

With black dresses (LBDs), statement heels are always better than nude heels. If you have heels that are bold, with patterns or a very bright color, always go for them.

Last, but definitely not least, apply red lipstick.
