ALEXANDRIA, Egypt - 24 August 2017: Walking through Qena, in Upper Egypt, this is a common scene, which only goes to show that tranquility is best found where one is not concerned with everyday complexities.

The Nile at its finest photographed with the greenery made by its water.
Raising animals is what Upper Egyptians do for a living beside other rural, millennia-old professions.

The picture shows a couple of cows having their daytime walk.

Kids play freely in the surrounding areas near the houses, reflecting a sign of peacefulness in the country, it is such a serene place to spend the day in. Watching the water as it slowly moves towards the north with the natural flow of gravity brings tranquility to a troubled mind.
