CAIRO – 3 August 2017: One of the most famous Thailand’s destinations is the complex of six Phi Phi islands spread on Andaman Sea: Koh Phi Phi Don, Koh Phi Phi Leh,Koh Bida Nok, Koh Phai and Koh Young. Koh Phi Phi archipelago is known for uniquely beautiful beaches, exotically shaped mountain cliffs and crystal clear waters with attractive snorkeling and diving spots just like in the settings of James Bond movie. The islands will welcome you with secluded bays of warm water and white soft sand.

The Phi Phi Don Island is the only inhabited and the largest of archipelago’s islands. You can get there by privately hired motor boat or a public ferry from Phuket in less than 2 hours. The island can be visited during day trip from Phuket. You will surely be mesmerized by the serenity and local folklore of the island; without cars and only with pedestrian roads, instead of land vehicles you can move between the islands and bays by long-tailed wooden boats with a simple engine, called gypsy boats.

You can choose to stay at attractive wooden cottages and bungalows with stunning views of the bay and mountains. Remember, the higher the setting the longer the walk nonetheless the rewards are worth the efforts.

When choosing to stay at the hotels and resorts on the island you will be taken there by motorboats, the only way to access the jewels of exotic Thai nature. Ko Phi Phi islands are possibly land of the oldest Thai settlement of prehistoric origin. Although the numbers of visitors has increased especially after the release of British-American movie ‘The Beach,’ the islands remain relatively secluded.

Thai restaurants offer a wide variety of exotically flavored food. The choice is extensive starting from fresh fragrant salads, through mildly spiced noodle soups to hot curries and stir fries, grilles and deep fries. You will find lists of noodle and rice dishes longer than the noodles itself. Thailand is home to some of the most exotic and delicious fruits.
Jackfruit, dragon fruit, custard apple, rambutan or tamarind are just a few. Restaurants, bars and cafes are set by the sea front and with mountain views where you can enjoy the fresh and tasty food in pleasantly warm temperatures while enjoying the paradise views of the sea, limestone cliffs and rain forest. One of the most popular drinks is fresh coconut served extensively at the beach cafes. Sitting at the sea front table with a freshly open coconut is one of the most iconic images of a Thai island.

Thai islands are paradise for well-being on many levels. Beside the pleasant climate, fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the rich choice of fresh food and fruit, there is a wide choice of body and well-being treatments. One of them is known worldwide; Thai massage. When enjoying one or a series you can be sure to be stretched the way you have never expected your body could. For anyone experiencing Thai massage for the first time be prepared for an active stretching and rolling, and even cracking; booking body massage in Thailand is not only easy but almost impossible to not to, as the massage centers are widely spread. You can arrange the national well being treatment at almost every hotel, in numerous massage venues or at the beach. You will experience the kindness and warmth of Thai people and culture.

Beside the Thai massage you can stretch well with Yoga. You can enjoy diving and snorkeling as Adaman Sea has a rich coral reef.

If you feel like getting off the island, you will find trips to neighboring islands and bay. One of them is set 100km away Ko Tapu island, which was a background to 1974 James Bond movie “The men with a golden gun.”

Winter is the best, mostly dry season to visit when the temperatures are stable. Most visitors come between November to April.
