CAIRO - 24 July 2017: An event will take place on August 11 and 12 by Astrotrips at Samuel dunes Fayoum for watching and photographing a meteor shower.

Samuel dunes are one of the most beautiful dunes 80 kilometers deep in the Fayoum desert, where almost no noise pollution is present.

"The earth's orbit intersects with the orbit of the ‘Swift-Tuttle.’ The Earth's gravity is greater than the comet’s, so it will attract the comet’s debris of the comet, which burns in the atmosphere of the Earth at a very high speed and looks like a fireball in the sky called meteors," said Amr Abdul Wahab, the event organizer.

The trip costs L.E. 650 ($36) including the Safari car, Bedouin dinner and the observatory tools. More information about reservation is on Astrotrips Facebook page.

Do not miss this beauty as well as the lunar eclipse in the month of August if you are an astronomy lover.
