CAIRO – 21 July 2017: People when they are shopping the first thing that gets to their mind is how much is the product and if they have can afford it or not.

However, little they know that some fabrics are effecting the environment and the surrounding and it is not healthy for humans to wear. There are several kinds of fabrics that are healthy for humans and the environment. The fabrics that are eco friendly are; bamboo fabric, organic cotton, industrial hemp, recycled polyester, silk, tencel, and wool as mentioned by green America.

Some international brands that have their franchise in Egypt do use those eco friendly fabrics as mentioned by the daily crisp, they are;

1) H&M:

H&M was founded in 1947 in Sweden with the name of Hennes (women collection), and then 20 years later the M was added. The M stands for Maurtiz (men’s collection).
Around 26 percent are made of sustainable materials that are eco friendly as mentioned in the glamour magazine, and they are trying to increase this percentage more and more every year.

2) Stella McCartney:

Stella McCartney was launched in 2001. And all her designs do not include any fur or leather. Hence, she uses more sustainable and eco friendly products in her designs.

3) G-STAR RAW:

G-STAR RAW was launched in 1989 in Amsterdam. It produces urban clothes. They use sustainable clothes and usually they use organic cotton, tencel and wool.

4) Zara:

Zara was founded 1975 in Spain. Plus it is one of the biggest clothing and accessories retail brand around the world. This year Zara took a step in designing a sustainable line.
