, who died of a heart attack on Wednesday July 5.

After Samir’s death, the Spanish forensics reported that his death was caused of low blood pressure that led to heart attack; the reason of his low blood pressure was that he went to the gym to exercise without eating or drinking.

What happens to the body if you played sports without eating or drinking?
According to the Livestrong Foundation website, exercising without eating or drinking has two major effects; one on the long run and the other on the short run.

On the short run:
If people do not eat for several hours mainly they will feel fatigued, but starving yourself before working out might lead to lowering your blood sugar.

The body uses carbohydrates as main fuel source for workouts, so if people do not have enough crabs in their body, it starts burning fats, muscle tissues or even organ tissues to create energy; which can lead to long term effects.

The long Run:
If people do not have enough carbohydrates, proteins, or fats in their bodies while working out, they are putting themselves at risk of getting Anemia or low iron commonly causing fatigue and making you feel weak during workouts.
If you do not eat enough your body will start getting into starvation, hence it will start burning body tissues and that might lead to heart attack.
