CAIRO – 2 March 2021: The General Egyptian Book Organization announced starting the application period for the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair Award, which runs until the end of March 2021.

 

 

GEBO will open the competition in 11 branches, including nine for adults in the categories of: Novel - Short Story - Classical Poetry - Colloquial Poetry - Theater - Literary Criticism - Human Studies - Child - Scientific Book, in addition to two fields for young people under the age of 35 in literary creativity and humanities.

 

 

That is in addition to four other prizes awarded equally from the General Egyptian Book Organization and other entities, which are the Best Book Award in Heritage with Dar al-Kutub, the Best Translated Book Award and Best Translated Book for Children Award with the National Center for Translation, and the Best Book Award in the field of cinema with the Academy of Arts.
