CAIRO – 24 February 2021: The first activities of the Lycee Al-Horreya Theater in Alexandria, affiliated to the Artistic House of Theater, will kick off on February 25 with the theatrical performance "Lessa Faker", at 7 p.m.

The play is scheduled to be staged on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays of every week at the theater’s headquarters in the Shatby area in Alexandria.

"Lesa Faker" is a production of the Alexandria Theater Group, and its events revolve around a man who gets out of prison after being wronged by his girlfriend. He decides to recall his memories and his story with girls, and what he went through from the elementary stage until his imprisonment, in a comedic satirical framework.

It is noteworthy that Lycee Al-Horreya Theater in Alexandria was opened by Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem on October 19, 2020 after being closed for 3 years for restoration and maintenance. However, its activity stopped again after its reopening for a period that lasted 130 days for unknown reasons.
