CAIRO – 8 February 2021: On February 8, many important events that changed the world map took place.

1587 - Queen of Scots Mary Stuart is executed by guillotine after spending 19 years in prison for participating in the plot to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I.

 

1985 - The Arab satellite, Arabsat, is launched to the sky.

 

2004 - Ir David Foundation seizes by force 16 houses in the village of Silwan, adjacent to Al-Aqsa Mosque, in a campaign to Judaize the vicinity of the mosque.
