CAIRO – 7 February 2021: On February 7, many important events that changed the world map took place.


 

Important world events:-
 

457 - Leo I becomes the first emperor of the Byzantine Empire.

 

1830 - The French Cabinet approves in a special session the occupation of Algeria.

 

1882 - The Egyptian Constitution is issued.

 

1898 - Emile Zola is brought to trial for defamation for publishing an article he wrote under the title “I Accuse!” where he talked about the Dreyfus case.

 

1965 - American boxer Cassius Clay declares his conversion to Islam and changes his name to Mohammad Ali.

 

1979 - Pluto moves to enter Neptune's orbit for the first time since its discovery.

 

2015 – “When to Marry” painting sells for US $300 million, thus becoming the most expensive painting in history.
