CAIRO – 2 February 2021: On February 2, many important events that changed the world map took place.

1878 - Greece declares war on the Ottoman Empire in solidarity with the Russian Empire.

 

1957 - The United Nations issues a resolution calling on Israel to withdraw from the Egyptian territories it still occupies, and a decision to expand the jurisdiction of the United Nations emergency forces so that it becomes a buffer between Israel and Egypt.

 

1965 - The Israeli Knesset enacts a law allowing the Israeli authority to confiscate the properties of Islamic endowments throughout Palestine.
