Pyramids of Giza receives Portuguese, Polish, Brazilian national handball teams, 150 foreign media representatives

CAIRO – 27 January 2021: On January 27, the Great Pyramids of Giza received the Portuguese, Polish and Brazilian national handball teams participating in the Men’s Handball World Championship hosted by Egypt from January 13 -31.

 

The Pyramids of Giza also received 150 foreign journalists and media representatives covering the championship.

 

The visitors abided by the hygiene safety measures of the International Handball Federation, and the measures implemented in museums and touristic sites in Egypt.

 

Players of the teams and the media delegation took photographs to document their visit .

 

During the past days, the members of the Russian, Chilean, Swedish, Austrian, French, Swiss, Japanese, German, Congolese, Icelander, Algerian and Uruguayan national teams who are participating in the Championship visited the site.
