'Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves' to be staged on Jan. 20

CAIRO – 19 January 2021: Salah Jahin Hall in the Balloon Theater will host, on January 20 at 6 p.m., the marionette puppet show "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves", for a second season by popular demand.

The show is scheduled to be staged on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays of every week, given the conditions that the country is going through in light of the second wave of the coronavirus, with an attendance of 50 percent of the total capacity of the hall.

"Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" is produced by the Under 18 Group, affiliated with the Art House of Folklore. It is part of the tales of the "One Thousand and One Nights" and is directed by Hassan el-Sherif.
