CAIRO – 19 January 2021: The French Institute in Egypt participates with the Center for Economic, Legal and Social Studies, and Documentation (CEDEJ) in the sixth session of the Night of Ideas organized by the French Institute in Paris on January 28, 2021.

While the global pandemic limits international gatherings and movement of individuals, the French Institute offers an unprecedented digital experience of "24 Hours of Thoughts”; a 24-hour online program that brings together lecturers from all over the world across its time zones.

The French Institute in Egypt participates in this digital edition by filming conversations with Egyptian and French intellectuals and innovators, and broadcasting these conversations for the first time in a live broadcast on January 28, then re-broadcasting them starting from February 1 within the framework of the “Week of Ideas”. This is in addition to broadcasting three new and exclusive conversations.

The French Institute in Egypt addresses with its guests the issue of the urban life problem and the culture and creativity problem.
