CAIRO - 10 January 2020: Egyptian artists Bassem Samra and Rehab el Gamal reconciled in January 10 and announced the end of their dispute.

The Egyptian actor and actress recoinciled at head of Actors Syndicate Ashraf Zaki House.

The two artists exchanged accusations through the social media platforms and TV talk programs the matter that drove Zaki to issue a decision to ban them from acting.

The head of the acting professions added in an intervention with the seventh day television, that this dispute harms the artistic community as a whole, and that it does not interfere with personal matters, but when social media is used to settle accounts between artists, this will be stopped and that there is a pact of honor between artists.

The artist, Bassem Samra, issued an official statement to respond to the artist Rehab El-Gamal after her attack on him by publishing a post in which she described him as the “drunk” actor, accusing him of insulting her and her colleagues during the rehearsal for the movie that brings them together, “Dick Al-Ayyat”.

He said during the statement: “I was surprised today by one of the artists publishing a completely unfounded story, fabricating unreal facts, and out of respect for the Representative Professions Syndicate to which I have the honor to belong, which is considered the big home for all Egyptian artists. I submitted a complaint to the captain of the acting professions. Responding to what was published until the Syndicate finishes the investigation that it will conduct, while I fully preserve the legal response to everyone who defamed me and my reputation, and God is the Grantor of success.
