Egypt’s Ministry of Culture suspends all activities related to New Year celebrations

CAIRO – 29 December 2020: In implementation of the decisions of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers regarding measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus, the Ministry of Culture announced the suspension of New Year's Eve celebrations in various bodies and sectors and in theaters, sites and facilities affiliated to it in various governorates, in the interest of public safety.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Ministry of Culture celebrated Christmas and will celebrate the New Year for the first time on its official YouTube channel.
