CAIRO – 28 December 2020: The General Authority for Cultural Palaces announced the opening of receiving applications for the participation in the Central Literary Competition for the year 2020/2021 for writers, poets, researchers and talented people of new generations.

 

That is for the following fields: Novels, the collection of stories, the collection of classical poetry, colloquial poetry, critical studies and child literature (the short story).

 

Works will be received until January 31, 2021.

 

All works are submitted in three computer-typed copies, with three electronic copies on  CD-ROM.

 

Handwritten works are excluded, as well as the works written on any of its pages the name of the contestant or his personal data or not committed to the topic of the monetary competition in critical studies.

 

Contestants must submit their work to the cultural branches of his place of residence or work, or to the General Administration of General Culture at the authority at: 16 (A) Amin Sami Street - Al Arais Buildings - Building (B) - 7th floor – Cairo, and fill a form prepared for this by the administration.

 

Contestants must submit a statement that he/she has not previously submitted this work to any other competition, has not contracted with any publishing party, and that he/she bears all moral and legal consequences if it is proven that the work is taken from others.

 

Contestants must sign this declaration in front of the responsible employee in the cultural branch or the competent department.

 

The contestants must also submit a copy of their personal resume.
