CAIRO - 21 December 2020: On December 20, the committee of experts formed by the decree of the Prime Minister No. 3211 of 2019 convened at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

 

The committee is headed by Deputy Minister of Finance for Financial Policies Ahmed Kojak and the membership of  former Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil, General Supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the surrounding region Atef Moftah, Professor of Accounting at Nile University Khaled Abdel Aziz Hegazy,  President of the Meris Credit Rating Company Amr Hassanein, Professor of International Law and former Director of the Cairo Regional Center for International Arbitration Mohamed Abdel Raouf, Legal Adviser in the Grand Egyptian Museum Project Adham Al-Ganzouri, Expert on international contracts and agreements for the Grand Egyptian Museum project Merihan Ragab and  Assistant Minister for the Grand Egyptian Museum Affairs Yomna Ismail.

 

That is  in addition to the engineering office and the legal office supporting the Grand Egyptian Museum.

 

 

Al Tayeb Abbas, Assistant Minister for Archaeological Affairs at the Grand Egyptian Museum, as well as members of the coalition preparing international documents (PWC-Lord-Hill) also attended the meeting.

 

Abbas said that this meeting,-in which Khaled el-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities participated in- is considered the last for the committee, as the process of offering and operating services at the Grand Egyptian Museum has been finalized and reviewed, in preparation for announcing the winning coalition soon.

 

This will be followed by the conclusion of a contract with the winning team to operate the services of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
