CAIRO – 9 December 2020: The Supreme Council of Culture - Youth Committee, is organizing a one-day conference, titled "Female Creativity Against Violence", on December 10.

 

The activities of the conference will start at 12 p.m. and is held in the context of celebrating the International Human Rights Day.

 

The conference includes four sessions.

 

Session One (12 - 1:30 p.m.): “Violence Against Women in the Egyptian Drama”, with the participation of the actress  Samira Abdel Aziz, Sanaa Hashem, and the artist Tarek el-Desouky.

 

Session Two: (1.30 - 3.00 p.m.): "The Impact of Social Environment on Feminist Creativity" with the participation of  Nisreen el-Baghdadi, Mervat Abu Auf,  Samar Saeed and Samia Habib.

 

Session Three: (3:30 – 5:00 p.m.): "Creativity challenges disability" with the participation of  Heba Hejras,  Maha Hilali, Professor Amal Mabdi, and Lamis Mekkawy.

 

Session Four: (5:00 – 6:30 p.m.): "Egyptian Female Creators" with the participation of the artist Sama Ibrahim, the artist Rasha Yahya, the artist Mirna Walid, the artist Hind el-Falafeli, and Hala Fahmy.

 

The conference is held in the hall of the Supreme Council of Culture; while adhering to all precautionary measures to battle COVID-19.

 

The conference will  also broadcast online through the conference secretariat page on Facebook and its YouTube channel.
