Lebanese singer Hiba Tawaji to perform in Egypt on December 18

CAIRO - 20 November 2020: Lebanese singer Hiba Tawaji will perform a concert in Egypt along with acclaimed Lebanese musician Osama el Rahbanni on December 18.

 

In 2018, Tawaji participated in the 54th International Festival of Carthage.

She performed in a concert in the Carthage Amphitheatre on July 29, 2018. 


Tawaji conducted a concert in Cairo in April, 2018 and participated in the musical revival Notre-Dame de Paris where she played the role of Esmeralda. 

Born in 1987, Tawaji started her career as a professional singer in 2008 after releasing her first song “Mitl el-Reeh” (Like Winds). Written by Mansour el-Rahbani, “Mitl El Reeh” was composed for “The Return of Phoenix” play. 

She released four albums: “Don Quixote” (2011), “La Bedaya, Wala Nehaya” (No Start, No End) (2012), “Heba Tawaji 30” (2017) and, finally, “Hallelujah” in December 2017. 

Tawaji performed songs in Arabic, English and French and participated in directing a number of short films like “El-Habl” (The Rope) in 2013.
