CAIRO – 19 November 2020: Prince Taz Palace, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund, will host a concert for the artist Khaled Munib and his band Munib Band, on November 26 at 7 p.m.

 

 

Munib founded the band in 2010 to be a continuation of the name and art of his father, the great musician and composer Ahmed Munib.

 

 

The group performs the works of the late Ahmed Muneeb in the eighties and nineties, works that were performed by Mohammad Mounir, Alaa Abdel Khaleq, Hamid Al Sha'eri, Hisham Abbas, Hassan Abdel Majid, Ahmed Gohar and others, through  modern music distribution.

 

 

The band participated in many events and celebrations, including the Youth Conference in Aswan, the Southern Song Festival, the Nile Basin Festival, and the Heritage Festival held in Aswan with the participation of several European and African bands.

 

A joint song was made with the German Traveler band entitled “Ana Masry Gedan” [I am very Egyptian.
