CAIRO - 18 November 2020: The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir was established 118 years ago.

 

The world’s most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities are gathered at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.

 

Egypt Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities celebrate its 118th anniversary of its opening, as it is a beacon of Egyptology and Egyptian antiquities for both scholars and tourists.

The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir is one of the oldest and most important museums in the world.
