CAIRO - 11 November 2020: Egypt's Ministry of Culture inaugurated a book fair at Al-Azhar University in the presence of  Haitham Al-Hajj Ali, head of the General Egyptian Book Organization.

 

The inauguration took place in the presence of Head of Al-Azhar University Mohamed el-Mahrasawi and Head of the National Library and Archives Nevin Mohammad Musa.

 

Several subsidiaries of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture participate in the exhibition, including the National Library & Archives which participate with a number of its varied and valuable publications, with a 25 percent discount on all publications, along with the General Egyptian Book Organization.

 

The book fair will resume until November 25.

 

Also, the book fair includes the latest publications of the General Egyptian Book Organization in various fields, in addition to series and encyclopedias issued by the organization.

 

The book fair comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture’s plan to hold book fairs in various universities to make books available at an affordable price to students and encourage them to read and acquire books at affordable prices.
