CAIRO – 28 October 2020: Head of the National Organization for Urban Harmony Mohammed Abu Saada, revealed that the organization is currently preparing a "tour" project for the two initiatives, "Story of a Street" and “lived Here”.

“The project is the preparation to draw a map in defining the path of each city. It provides an explanation as to why a street is named a certain name. From here, and  during the tour the visitor can find out where certain pioneers lived, and so on,” explained Saada in press statements.

Saada indicated that the map will be available on the site created by the National Organization for Urban Harmony entitled "Memory of the City", adding that the project aims to identify street buildings and preserve the memory of the creators.

“In the next step, we will be assisted by tour guides who will make tours with visitors to acquaint them about the country's history and heritage,” said Saada.

It is noteworthy that the “Story of a Street” project is an extension of the vision of the National Organization for Urban Harmony in preserving the distinguished urban and architectural heritage of Egypt through the initiative "Our Heritage is our identity, Lets Protect it Together."
