CAIRO - 25 October 2020: The General Authority for Cultural Palaces organized several cultural and artistic events on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the October victories and the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) at the Ahmed Baha el-Din Culture Palace for Child Specialists in Assiut.

 

The palace organized a workshop for individuals with special needs to teach painting and plastic arts entitled "October's victories to develop Values of the Love of the Nation and the Nation's Army ", in addition to a plastic arts workshop to embody some of the late actor Mahmoud Yassin's works that shed light on the October victories with the participation of the plastic artist Ibrahim Hussein.

 

Also  a storytelling workshop entitled "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" was held to spread the values and positive ethics among children, in addition to a workshop of artistic tailoring on the occasion of the beginning of the  academic school season.

 

A poetry symposium was held to introduce children to Arabic poetry and its history to integrate children with the literary history of their homeland, and within the framework of the interest in the authentic heritage of the tali craft that characterizes the palace.

 

In addition, the palace presented a plastic arts workshop on the October victories, in addition to a tali exhibition to spread this rare heritage among children and to introduce them through the exhibition that this cultural heritage and this distinguished craft is not embroidery.
