Egypt’s radio presenter, singer, actress Zahra Ramy releases her 1st single titled ‘Battalt’

CAIRO - 10 October 2020: Famed Egyptian radio presenter, singer and actress Zahra Ramy released her first single on YouTube titled “Battalt” ( I Gave Up). 

The main theme of the song, which is written by Ahmed Shalaby revolves around the things Ramy decided to give up on, such as arguing, getting nervous about trivial things, choosing her words among others.

“Batalt” houses a mixture of modern beats that are influenced from different cultures.

Ramy was a member in Ayamna El-Helwa (Our Beautiful Days) that was established by Mohamed Othman in 2003.

Ayamna El- Helwa was tailor made to revive our Arabic Music heritage.

Ramy left Ayamna El-Helwa three years ago and founded her new band Mixer, one year ago.
