CAIRO – 26 July 2020: Alexandria Opera House is organizing a concert for the Arab Music Heritage Troupe at Sayed Darwish Theater, led by musician Farouk el-Bably.

 

The concert will be held at 8 p.m. on July 26 in celebration of the 68th anniversary of the July 23 Revolution. All precautionary measures set by the state to combat COVID-19 will be applied in the event.

 

Also, the concert’s program includes a wide variety of patriotic songs, and songs from the golden era, performed by Angham Mostafa, Hanan Essam, Hanan el-Khouly, Noha Hafez, Ahmed Mohsen, Mohy Salah, Ahmed el-Waziri and Yasser Soliman.

 

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem has announced the timetable for the gradual resumption of activity in various sectors and the return of cultural, intellectual and artistic activities at all cultural sites and entities during July.

 

Abdel Dayem emphasized that the time plan for the resumption of the Egyptian creative movement aims to restore life to cultural and artistic sites.
