CAIRO – 9 July 2020: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem witnessed the launch of the activities of the Supreme Council of Culture, headed by Hisham Azmy.

 

Abdel Dayem attended part of the first seminar, which was held under the title: “Bullying, Has it become a social phenomenon?”.

 

Abdel Dayem commended the return of the Council's activities after coming to a halt for several months due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

 

She explained that the program of resuming activity includes a variety of symposiums that enrich the intellectual and literary fields in Egypt, stressing the need to adhere to the application of preventive measures approved by the state in order to preserve public safety.

 

It is worth noting that the seminar was moderated by Hisham Azmi, secretary general of the Supreme Council of Culture, with the participation  of a number of specialists in the fields of psychology and social sciences.
