CAIRO – 9 July 2020: The Greater Cairo Library will host a symposium titled “COVID-19 & The Latest Findings of Scholars” on July 9 at 6 p.m.

 

The symposium will adhere to health controls set by Egypt’s Ministry of Health, with an attendance rate of 25 percent of the total capacity of the library, with all health precautions taken.

 

The topic will be discussed by director of the Infectious Diseases Surveillance Team Abeer el-Sibai and Amr Mumtaz. The symposium will be managed by Yasser Osman, director general of the Greater Cairo Library.

 

The symposium covers the definition of the epidemic, the groups most vulnerable to the disease, and how it spreads, in addition to discussing ongoing research to find a successful treatment, some experiments of international universities, the types of drugs that have been tried in practice and how to manage the crisis.
