CAIRO – 9 July 2020: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra will resume its artistic activities with a concert led by Maestro Hisham Gabr and the participation of the Finnish Violinist, Laura Vertanen, leader of the European Union Orchestra, at the 8 p.m. on July 11 at the Fountain Theater in Cairo’s Opera.

The program includes a number of the most important world musical classics of major composers.

It is noteworthy that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is the oldest in Egypt, as it was founded in 1959 by the Austrian Maestro Franz.

Since then, it contributed to enriching the musical life in Egypt by hosting the most famous musicians in the world and also works to encourage Egyptian musicians, authors, and music leaders to promote themselves.
