CAIRO – 18 June 2020: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem dedicated the first part of the book “Tales of the Sons and the Land" to the families of the martyrs of the armed forces and the police.

This step caused a state of happiness and joy in the families of the martyrs, and comes as a second gift after President Sisi's gift to the families of the martyrs on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

This comes in accordance with the instructions of Egypt’s political leadership to pay special attention to the families of the martyrs in all aspects of life in appreciation for the precious sacrifices they provided for the love of the homeland.

Also, documenting the heroism of the martyrs is based on humanitarian aspects, revealing their relationships with their mothers and families in a way that enriches the national memory and presents a role model for future generations.
