CAIRO - 19 March 2020: Famed stars Asser Yassin and Nelly Karim are currently filming their new series “100 Wesh”, scheduled to be broadcast during Ramadan 2020. The series is written by Ahmed Wael and Amr el-Dali and directed by Kamla Abu Zekry.

Yassin finished filming a large number of his scenes for the series, where he plays the role of a professional scammer, who disguises as several characters, including an officer. As he works in one of his scams, he meets a girl named Sokkar (Nelly Karim), and they cooperate together.

Karim plays the role of a comical girl named Sokkar, who works in a beauty parlor. However, scamming appeals to her; she gets involved in numerous scams, makes a lot of money and ends up buying her own beauty parlor.

The authors of the series Ahmed Wael and Amr el-Daly completed only 17 episodes of the series, and will hand over the rest of the episodes by the beginning of April 2020, at the latest.

The new series brings Abu Zekry and Karim together again 3 years after their last film “Yom Lel Setat”. The film co-starred Elham Shaheen, Ahmed el-Fishawy, Mahmoud Hamida, Farouk el-Fishawy, Hala Sedky, Iyad Nassar, Nahed el-Sebaei, Ahmed Dawoud, Shaima Saif and Rajaa Hussein.
