CAIRO - 15 March 2020: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el-Anani embarked on an inspection tour in the Pyramids of Giza antiquities region.

The tour was made by the minister to follow up on the removal of the rainwater that had accumulated in some places due to the bad weather. Anani also inspected on March 14 the Baron Empain Palace in Heliopolis and Al-Moez St. in Old Cairo.

The minister visited the area around the pyramid of Khafre as well as the panorama area. He also inspected the first restaurant in the region, which is scheduled to open in late March, within the project to develop services in the Giza Pyramids region.

Anani pointed out that all the entities of the country have joined hands to remove the accumulated rain water, where over 70 trucks are currently being utilized to remove the accumulated water from the region.

During his presence in the panorama region, the minister met with a number of tourist delegations from Taiwan, Spain and America, who were keen to take photos with the minister and express their great joy to be in Egypt.
